This has been a very celebratory week here at the Little Sisters. We have been blessed to have many Irish dance groups perform for the Residents leading up to St. Patrick’s day. We were also lucky to have local musician Johnny Gallagher sing Irish music the week before March 17th. This performance was sponsored by a previous Resident’s family.
On actual St. Patrick’s Day everyone was dressed in green for the afternoon show. The ukulele club along with the activities department serenaded the audience with a variety of Irish folks songs. The afternoon was capped off with “Shamrock Shakes” and a beautifully decorated Leprechaun cake donated by a Resident’s family. Everyone was Irish on Tuesday!
