Thank you to all who participated in or donated toward our Highmark Walk last month! We were blessed with a beautiful day to take the Residents out for a walk around our campus. The Sisters, Staff and volunteers escorted the Residents to the various courtyards, through the grotto and by the Calvary statue seeing the beautiful gardens and grounds along the way. The afternoon of outdoor time ended with an ice cream social in auditorium where Resident Ed Gregor played music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
Following the success of the inhouse walk the Sisters attended the Highmark Walk at Point State Park downtown. Thanks to our many walkers and friends at Federated Hermes, we were one of the top fund raising organizations at the event! Here are a few photos from both walks.
