This Spring our Residents were treated to a trip to the Phipps’ Conservatory Flower Show. Just about a dozen Residents enjoyed a tour of this captivating exhibit. Even though it was a cold Spring morning, the Residents were so impressed by the individually decorated display rooms blooming with vibrant colors of nature! The level of detail throughout the Conservatory was incredible! What a treasure Pittsburgh has in Phipps!
When the Residents returned to the Home, they were treated to a delicious lunch in the auditorium. This annual trip to the Phipps’ Spring Flower Show is always a wonderful way to welcome the new season. Many thanks the kind people at Phipps for donating the tickets for Residents and for the accompanying volunteers and activities staff! We appreciate it!
