Springtime Flourishes
The Little Sisters are so blessed with help every spring to transform their grounds as they become alive with the vibrant colors of nature. Many local nurseries and garden centers are always willing to donate flats of flowers to the Sisters to plant and beautify their grounds. Prior to planting a group of volunteers with Liberty Mutual spent a day of service readying up the gardens. They mulch and prep many areas. The Notre Dame Alumni Club also comes every year as well to plant flowers in pots and in the St. Joseph statue garden.
Sister Josephine has a dedicated group of volunteers who take turns weeding and watering throughout the summer to keep the ground flourishing. We are so grateful to all who contribute to making our grounds a joy for our Residents and guests!
