St. Joseph’s Day and St. Carlo Display

By April 17, 2026No Comments

Our Home was blessed to have Auxiliary Bishop William Waltersheid join us on the Feast of St. Joseph on Thursday, March 19 for Mass. As you may know, the Little Sisters have a strong devotion to St. Joseph and often pray to him to interceded for the needs of the congregation. Following the morning Mass, Bishop then gave a talk about the life of another important Saint—St. Carlo Acutis.

Saint Carlo Acutis, the first Millennial saint, developed a website that cataloged 150+ Eucharistic Miracles from around the world. Each Miracle has been meticulously studied, scientifically analyzed, and unequivocally approved by the Vatican. The Diocese of Pittsburgh loaned us the exhibit about these Eucharistic Miracles to display in our auditorium for multiple days following March 19.

The Sisters, Residents, staff, volunteers and even groups from near-by churches were able to come and see the display over a few day period. Everyone was fascinated by these verified miracles.
