Spring Prom
The idea of having a Spring Prom emerged during a Resident Council meeting one month. They wanted an occasion to get dressed up enjoy good food, music and dancing. The Residents certainly got all three last week. The auditorium was transformed into a lovely dance floor with Swingin’ BopCats Big Band providing great musical numbers. Three pairs of experienced ballroom dancers showed of their skills and encouraged Residents to join them on the dance floor. Students from Carlow, CMU and Pitt were on hand to escort the Residents as well and pin on corsages and boutonnieres.
Residents Anne Dolansky (100 years young) and Rick Hart were crowned Prom Queen and King. Residents, Sisters, family, Staff and volunteers all had a blast! Check out all the fun in the photos below.
